Krueger Resource Recovery
Deborah A. Krueger, President of Krueger Resource Recovery, has been a consultant for almost 12 years. She worked with a Rochester, NY area consulting company when she decided to go out on her own in September of 2004.
Along the way, she has had a string of successes which includes cash recovery, training of billing personnel, and interim director and supervisory stints at both hospitals and nursing homes. Taking on the Medicaid Application process has helped both lawyers and family members of nursing home patients throughout Western New York.
Some of the successes of Mrs. Krueger have been:
- Supervising a Cash Recovery Project at a Finger Lakes hospital that collected $8 million of an $11 million outstanding receivables balance
- Restructured some Patient Accounting functions for a Western NY skilled nursing corporation that led to a recovery of $700,000 cash in 3 months
- Supervised a patient credit verification project at a large hospital in western NY that identified a savings of $1.5 million to the facility
- Assisted in a computer software conversion at a large southern tier hospital/nursing home while serving as interim Patient Accounts Director
- Reduced outstanding receivables approximately 65% while acting as an interim manager of patient accounts and admissions at a nursing home facility in Westchester County during a ten month period
Deborah has been a member of the Mid York Medical Management Association and the Healthcare Finance Management Association.
